For all car lovers out there, Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest is really a must see.
All year round they have some of the most important cars from the past 100 years, including Bluebird (the car in which Donald Campbell broke the land speed record in 1964), Damon Hill’s Williams-Renault, Del Boy’s Reliant Robin, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, and many more.
On top of that they are currently showing “World of Top Gear” exhibition for fans of the BBC2 show. This exhibition features almost all of the cars featured in the show’s many challenges including the Reliant Rocket, home-made stretch Limos, the ski-jumping Olympic Mini, and amphibious cars. More info about World of Top Gear on Beaulieu web site.
If that’s not enough, they are also running the Jame Bond Experience, featuring the famous Lotus submarine car, Aston Martin Volante from The Living Daylights, and the Jaguar XKR Roadster used in Die Another Day. More info about James Bond Experience.
